Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Ltd (KPCL), a key player in the air, refrigeration and gas compression business, announced its financial results for Q2 FY26. The company reported revenue from operations of ₹378 crore and a Profit Before Tax (PBT) of ₹57 crore for the quarter, marking a decline compared to Q2 FY25. Net Profit After Tax stood at ₹43 crore. For the first half of FY26, total income was ₹665 crore, compared to ₹717 crore in H1 FY25. PBT for the period stood at ₹94 crore, accounting for 14.1 per cent of total income. The slowdown in project execution, clearances, and order finalisation impacted topline sales and profits. As of October 1, 2025, the company’s order book stood at ₹1,667 crore, up from ₹1,624 crore at the start of the year. The compression business continued to contribute about 91 per cent of total revenue in H1 FY26 and remains the sole reporting segment. During the quarter, KPCL focused on commercialising its intellectual property and utilising new manufacturing capabilities, leading to positive outcomes expected to reflect in upcoming results. The Tezcatlipoca centrifugal compressor crossed the 100-unit mark, and the Tyche semi-hermetic compressor was launched after successful testing. The Board approved filing an application under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme to enter the commercial air-conditioning segment with its patented Zephyros C system, with plans to set up the project within the next 18 months, subject to approvals.
