Silent Witnesses is the third main quest of the Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. As the Sedletz monastery goes into quarantine, you must try to understand the root cause of the ongoing illness. It's recommended to complete it, as it will reward you with the plague mask, which is quite important in the story.Nevertheless, here are the steps to complete the Silent Witnesses quest:Talk to workers outside the churchDistract this guard to reach the camp (Image via Deep Silver)While this objective is optional, completing this will give you more information about the ongoing situation at the monastery. First, exit the infirmary and proceed to the camp, located in the northern part of the map.Note: Make sure to pick up the Schnapps from the cabinet in the back of the infirmary. It will be required later in the quest.Talk to Loyza at the camp (Image via Deep Silver)You can distract the guard on the way by throwing a rock in front of him. Then, go behind him to reach the camp.There, talk to workman Loyza, and choose these prompts:Scratch my back... (If you have a high Coercion or Intimidation stat, you can select "Spit out everything you know" or "I'm coming down with something." However, they will result in Reputation loss.)Look what I've got. Then, find the locked chest and unlock it using a lockpick. Take the golden crucifix from the chest to proceed.Search the cryptUse this ladder to get inside the church (Image via Deep Silver)From the workers' camp's location, you will find a ladder in the southeast direction. Use that to enter the church, then go left, and you will hear two people talking.Wait for the workers' conversation, and then throw a rock to distract (Image via Deep Silver)After their conversation ends, one of them leaves the scene. Following that, distract the worker standing there by throwing a rock in front of him.Go down the hole in the ground to reach the crypt (Image via Deep Silver)When he's distracted, quickly move forward and take the ladder to go down through the collapsed floor. Open the eastern door to reach the crypt.Collect the filthy parchment from the crypt (Image via Deep Silver)Now, complete the following tasks in there:Investigate the location.Look into the tomb.Pick up the filthy parchment from the crypt.You can also find a hunting sword behind a tomb.Note: To avoid sickness at the crypt, you must wear the plague mask that you can obtain through the Prevention task in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Mysteria Ecclesiae.Escape the cryptTale apart this wall to escape the crypt (Image via Deep Silver)To escape the crypt, there are two options:Take the wall apart to find a way towards the crypt entrance. You can then silently go up the ladder to avoid the workers.Use a lockpick to open the main door. However, you then have to defeat three workers to escape. You can use the hunting sword you've picked earlier.Next, go up the ladder to reach the church, and then open the door in the west to exit.Return to AlbichSneakily go past the guards to arrive at the infirmary. Or, you can simply get caught by a guard deliberately and choose the prompt "Take me away" to fast travel to the required location.Next, enter the room in the back of the infirmary to find Albich. During the conversation, choose these dialogues:What are you talking about?Who could've done it?Take a look around the looted roomInspect the scattered things and the door lock (Image via Deep Silver)Afterward, you have to take a look at the scattered things on the southeast corner of the room, and also inspect the door lock.Talk to Denes and BenedictNow, you must talk to Denes and Benedict in the infirmary.
