Kim Kardashian claims historic event 'was fake' in bizarre admission

It's easy to tumble down a rabbit hole whilst researching bonkers conspiracy theories - and it appears Kim Kardashian is no exception. During the latest episode of The Kardashians , the 45-year-old was spotted chatting with her All's Fair co-star Sarah Paulson while they had their hair and makeup done before shooting the Disney+ show . The duo formed a tight bond while creating the series, and Kim confessed that she would frequently send Sarah links to TikTok clips about the latest conspiracy theories. "I'm sending you, like, so far a million interviews with Buzz Aldrin and the other one," Kim told Sarah, before turning her phone to show the American Horror star a clip. It was then that Kim confessed she reckons the moon landing was fabricated, reports the Mirror US . Discussing an alleged interview with Buzz, Kim said: "This girl says, 'What was the scariest moment?' And he goes, 'There was no scary moment 'cause it didn't happen. "It could have been scary, but it wasn't because it didn't happen.' So he's gotten old and now he like, slurs on his thinking." Sarah was stunned and simply replied, "Dudes." "So I think it didn't happen," Kim said. Sarah then confessed: "I'm gonna go on a massive deep dive is what's gonna happen. I'm gonna go on a serious deep dive." Buzz Aldrin remains the last surviving Apollo 11 crew member, with Neil Armstrong having passed away in 2012 and the other member of the Apollo 11 trio, Michael Collins, passing away in 2021. . Buzz has discussed the moon mission publicly throughout his career. The footage Kim viewed came from a Q&A session featuring the former astronaut at the Oxford Union in 2015. His comments were taken out of context to suggest he had confessed that the moon landing was staged. In the complete recording, Buzz acknowledged it wasn't frightening to be on the moon, but never claimed the moon landing was fabricated. He answered the inquiry, remembering "kicking up dust and picking up some rocks" from the lunar surface. While discussing her bond with Sarah, Kim also confessed: "I send her conspiracies all the time." Later, in Kim's on-set trailer, she settled on a sofa and informed the cameras: "We're breaking for lunch at 10.15 p.m." A producer interjected: "Wait, for the record, you think that we didn't walk on the moon?" Kim responded: "I don't think we did," as her producer gasped. She went on: "I think it was fake. I've seen a few videos of Buzz Aldrin talking about how it didn't happen. He says it all the time now in interviews. Maybe we should find Buzz Aldrin." Grabbing her phone, Kim added, "Oh my God, Khloe should get him on her podcast. A conspiracy theory podcast." In a voiceover whilst texting Khloe, Kim questioned, "Why does Buzz Aldrin say it didn't happen?" "There's no gravity on the moon. Why is the flag growing? The shoes that they have in the museum that they wore on the moon is a different print in the photos. Why are there no stars?" During a confessional segment, a producer questioned the reality star: "What do you have to say to people who are going to say you're crazy for saying that?" Kim responded: "They're gonna say I'm crazy no matter what. But like, go to TikTok, see for yourself." The Kardashians Season 7 is streaming now on Disney
