Kilmarnock ace wins William Hill SPFL Goal of the Month award for wonderstrike against Hibs

Kilmarnock youngster Ben Brannan’s wonderstrike has been voted the SPFL Goal of the Month for August. The 18-year-old produced a majestic volley from distance that looped over Hibs keeper Jordan Smith as Killie rescued a point after being two goals down at Easter Road. The strike was a highlight moment for the Scotland youth international full-back, who has burst onto the scene this term. Since marking his club debut with a goal away to Brora Rangers in the Premier Sports Cup to open the season, the ace has been awarded with a new contract and chipped in with four goals in eight appearances. Killie are back in action on Sunday when they welcome Celtic to Rugby Park as they eye up a first league win of the campaign.
