Kennet Eichhorn release clause revealed

Hertha Berlin midfielder Kennet Eichorn is generating quite a buzz in German football. Eichorn made history this season by becoming the youngest player ever to make an appearance in the 2. Bundesliga. He has since gone to appear in all but three of the team’s league games this season, with 579 minutes recorded. Only one midfielder (Michael Cuisance) in their entire squad has played more league minutes than Eichorn this season, and his ability to be trusted straight away to play 53% of the total playing time available to him in league matches. His rise to stardom has lead to many team’s being linked with his services. One of these teams include Manchester United, and his release clause has been revealed by Florian Plettenberg on X. The 16-year old’s contract runs out until 2029, but his release clause stands as between €10 million and €12 million. United will have their work cut out for them, with RB Leipzig Director of Football Marcel Schäfer and Sports Coordinator Daniel Baier said to have been attendance for Hertha’s game against FC Kaiserslautern, as were Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund. For someone who is as highly rated as Eichorn, being able to acquire him would be a move set for the future and send out a statement that they can still attract the best young talent despite a lack of recent success on and off the pitch.
