Kelly Clarkson is heading back to Las Vegas with even more 2026 dates after postponing her residency amid ex-husband Brandon Blackstock’s private health battle and subsequent death earlier this year. “New Vegas shows have been added!” Clarkson, 43, announced via Instagram on Monday, November 3. “Come see me at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace 🏛️🎰 Tickets on sale Friday!” New performances of the Kelly Clarkson: Studio Sessions Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace include four dates in August 2026: The 7, 8, 14 and 15. Tickets go on sale Friday, November 7, at 10 a.m. PT with Citi card members having access to presale tickets from Tuesday, November 4, at 10 a.m. PT to Thursday, November 6, at 10 p.m. PT. Additionally, Caesars Rewards members, Caesars Entertainment’s loyalty program and Live Nation and Ticketmaster customers will have access to a presale starting Thursday at 10 a.m. PT through 10 p.m. PT. Clarkson previously announced shows for July 2026 dates — the 17, 18, 24, 25 and 31 — and August 1. Limited tickets are still available online for those dates as well. Clarkson’s official return to Vegas, however, comes later this week with four shows set for November. She will take the stage on Friday for the first time since her ex-husband died in August at the age of 48. The Grammy winner announced on August 6 that she was postponing “the remainder” of her August Studio Session shows amid Blacksock’s health battle. (Clarkson previously postponed a few July shows after rehearsals “took a toll” on her voice.) “While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children’s father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them,” Clarkson wrote via Instagram in August, referring to her and Blackstock’s daughter, River, 11, and son Remington, 9. Us Weekly confirmed on August 7 that Blackstock died following a three-year battle with melanoma. “It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away. Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family,” a family rep said in a statement to Us at the time. “We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time.” Prior to his death, Blackstock and Clarkson were married for seven years. The American Idol alum filed for divorce in 2020, and the former couple finalized their split two years later. In addition to his two children with Clarkson, Blackstock was father to daughter Savannah, 23, and son Seth, 18, whom he shared with his first wife, Melissa Ashworth. Clarkson didn’t publicly comment on Blackstock’s death over the summer, but a source exclusively told Us on August 8 that the musician was focusing on her children amid the tragedy. “It has been draining, exhausting, emotional [and] devastating,” the insider said. “A big part of it was making her schedule available for transporting the children to visit Brandon, and all of the emotions that came with this difficult time.” The following month, Clarkson began production on season 7 of The Kelly Clarkson Show. When the season premiered in late September, she didn’t mention Blackstock’s death. Instead, Clarkson told viewers on the September 29 show that she chose to kick off the episode with a cover of The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” because it made her “feel good.” “It’s a perfect song to kick us off because light has been a constant theme for us on this show since the beginning. We’ve seen a lot in the past six years, and sometimes the world can be very heavy, but I’ve always said my favorite part of doing this job — and I stand by it — is finding the light and shining it on people who are really trying to make the world a better place,” she shared. “It sounds cheesy but it’s real. It makes you feel good. That’s exactly what we’re gonna be doing this week and all season, y’all.” Clarkson will continue to spread joy when she returns to Las Vegas this week with shows on Friday, Saturday, November 8, Friday, November 14, and Saturday, November 15.
