Kate Garraway and Clare Balding row live on air over Celebrity Traitors feud

Celebrity Traitors stars Kate Garraway and Clare Balding found themselves revisiting their roundtable feud on Good Morning Britain this morning as they halted an interview to discuss the BBC show. The two stars were both Faithfuls on the hit competition, however both found themselves wrongly accused of being Traitors and banished from the series. Reuniting on Good Morning Britain , Clare stopped by to speak about her new book - however, the chat got off on the wrong foot after Kate incorrectly called it a 'bonk buster'. Ed Balls said: "She's written her first novel for adults which Kate says is a bonk buster." Kate quickly interrupted: "I did not say that! I was told that. Look., don't start trouble between Clare and I all over again. It wasn't me who said that Clare. I'd like to assure you, that was the impression we got from the producers." Clare added: "No, that's because Jilly Cooper told me to write it but it's not a bonk buster. It's about love and faith and trust." As they began to chat about the novel, Kate asked: "Did you like writing it? Because I always think of you doing stuff that's fact-based." After Clare mocked her for saying "doing stuff", chat quickly turned to a heated conversation about Celebrity Traitors. Kate told the viewers: "You can see what it was like. Can I just say, Clare was the first person in Celebrity Traitors to say that I was suspicious and you can see how she is. I'm at the roundtable all over again." Clare interrupted: "She kept arguing with me Ed, she kept arguing if somebody put your name down - I never put your name down." To which Kate fired back: "But you told everyone you thought it was me?" After Clare said that she said that at the roundtable, Kate responded: "Jonathan and David both said it was you. Let's carry on." However, Clare interrupted again: "If we're going to go on who you should trust, if it's a choice between me and Jonathan, stick with me Kate." Ed then got involved, asking: "What is going on? This is better than watching on the TV!" While he tried to return discussion back to Clare's book, the sports broadcaster wasn't ready to give up Traitors talk just yet. "I'm going to make a point, I'm going to make a point - is that alright?" she said. "It's about the roundtable and it's how you make voices heard. Because I believe all the time that sport is bigger than just the game being played, I think Celebrity Traitors is bigger than the game being played. "Whether you're in cabinet meetings, shadow cabinet meetings, whether you're in school staff meetings, team sports and you've got the big discussion point, whether you're in the boardroom. Wherever you are in a team, how do you make your voice heard without being shut down but also how do you make sure all voices are being listened to equally." She added: "We defer and we defer on the basis that the deference is to education, gender, age, it's to a tone of voice. And comedy means you can get away with a lot but Joe Wilkinson said something interesting about that anytime he said something, it was like he was talking in lower case. "I think there were a lot of occasions for women in particular who find they're talking in lower case and no one is necessarily listening." The Celebrity Traitors final airs tonight on BBC One, with remaining contestants Alan Carr, Cat Burns, David Olusoga, Nick Mohammed and Joe Marler hoping to win the jackpot for their chosen charity.
