Kate Garraway 'excited' over new project away from the TV spotlight

This week, Kate Garraway revealed her latest project beyond her television commitments. Whilst the 58-year-old is primarily recognised as a star of the Good Morning Britain presenting team, she's currently participating in the fresh series of Celebrity Traitors. Recently, she discussed how appearing on the BBC programme has affected her. This week, Kate faces the threat of elimination by The Traitors, along with Lucy Beaumont and Nick Mohammed. In a dramatic development, whichever contestant the Traitors choose to eliminate must be confronted directly. Nevertheless, away from the Scottish Castle and her duties in the Good Morning Britain studio, Kate has been occupied with another endeavour. Posting on Instagram this week, she unveiled a new platform designed to help people forge connections with one another. In the video, she explained: "This is a great moment to share with you something that you may have heard me mention once or twice, that I've been working on for some time." "It's called The Sharing Life, and I'm so excited because we're now ready to build our platform, and it's based on one very simple but very powerful idea that none of us should face life's biggest moments alone. "Whether it's those huge moments of joy, heartbreak, change or challenge. The things that spin us on our axis, it's always better and stronger somehow when we share that with someone else because then we can lean on and learn from each other." Kate paused to speak directly to her followers, emphasising how they've consistently stood by her through both joyful and difficult periods of her life, reports Wales Online . She continued: "You've always absolutely been there with me, usually laughing at my utter ridiculousness, which is fine because I am! But also, absolutely supported me when life has got incredibly tough. "It's sometimes the things that you've said that have connected the dots with me that's made all the difference and I really want to share this around and build something that we can all use and benefit from." Providing supporters with further details about the new platform, the ITV personality revealed it centres on authentic stories, genuine needs, meaningful connection and proper support. She went on: "We're absolutely at the start of this, it's so great that we're now building our platform. I want us to go on this journey together because it's only by hearing from you, it's truly about you and what you need." Informing people that registration costs nothing, Kate stressed that professionals are also involved to provide assistance. She concluded: "Get on board today, sign up and I really think we can build something very special together." Further details can be found on her Instagram page. Celebrity Traitors is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
