Kamal Haasan, who was last seen in Thug Life is currently set to work on Stunt duo Anbariv’s debut film, currently known as KH 237. Meanwhile, reports about a new film starring Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth together are currently doing the rounds on social media on the internet. While Rajinikanth confirmed their collaboration last week, Kamal Haasan, too, has shared a major update about it. Kamal Haasan And Rajinikanth’s Film Confirmed? This Is What The Thug Life Actor Says Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are said to be coming together for a film after 44 years. Kamal Haasan who has been busy with his political work answered questions from reporters at Chennai airport about his upcoming biggie. On being asked about working with Rajinikanth, he said “we have worked in the past…we’ll work in the future…let’s do this.” Earlier in September, Kamal Haasan announced the news while speaking at an awards event in Dubai. Talking at the event he said “We were united long ago, but chose to remain apart because they kept splitting a biscuit and giving us only half each. We wanted a full biscuit each, and we got it and relished it well. Now we are content with just half a biscuit again, so we have come together.” The Thug Life star then said that the competition between him and Rajinikanth was created by the film buffs and that they never looked at it as competition. “That we got such opportunities is a huge deal. We had decided long ago to be like this and to set an example. That’s how he has been, and that’s how I have been. So while this reunion might be surprising business-wise, we aren’t that surprised. We are just glad that something that was supposed to happen a long time ago is happening now,” added the actor. While no other details regarding the project are announced, speculations are rife that filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, who helmed Rajini in his latest film Coolie and Kamal Haasan in 2022’s Vikram, is helming the film.
