Junior Andre ‘in talks for first reality TV show’ after sister Princess’s own hit programme

Junior Andre is reportedly in talks to star in his first reality TV show, following the success of his sister Princess Andre’s ITV2 series The Princess Diaries. The 20-year-old, who made his music debut in 2021 with viral hit Slide, is said to have been approached to take part in a celebrity edition of BBC One’s Race Across the World. The popular travel competition challenges contestants to cross continents without using air travel, phones or internet, surviving on limited cash and their problem-solving skills. Previous series have seen competitors race from London to Singapore and from Japan to Indonesia. A source told The Sun: “Junior was approached after BBC bosses watched Princess’s show – he came across really well and they know his fans would tune in if he was on it! Junior is considering the offer – and who to race with.” While the celebrity version often pairs famous faces with relatives, insiders suggest Junior may choose a close friend rather than either of his parents Peter Andre or Katie Price. Speaking recently to The Standard, Junior said he would love to document life on the road once his music career takes him global. “When I’m touring the world I’d love to document it. That would be so fun — seeing behind the scenes of getting ready for a show, rehearsals backstage, what goes wrong and what goes right. So much goes into it. “The music is going really well. I’m not putting any pressure on myself. I’m working hard every day, staying true to myself, creating constantly and I can’t wait to show the world what I do.” Princess, 18, has already proved a breakout star. Her four part Princess Diaries series, which followed her launching a make up line and navigating early adulthood, has been renewed for two more runs in 2026 after becoming a hit with viewers. Off screen, the newly single teen recently set tongues wagging after being spotted with Prince Fury, the son of boxing legend Tyson and entrepreneur Paris Fury, at the London launch of Paris’s new wellness brand Eternal Collagen. Princess has also attended several events with Paris and her daughter Vienna, and even appeared in a TikTok video with Vienna, showing she has grown close to the family. However, reports suggest Princess’s mother Katie Price is less than thrilled about the connection, having previously expressed frustration at being excluded from her daughter’s ITV2 show and feeling sidelined while others including the Fury family have taken a more visible role in her life.
