Jude Law Dumps Romcoms in New Uber Eats Ad

Jude Law is used to people falling in love with him, after playing heartthrobs in movies like The Holiday and Alfie. But it turns out even meet-cutes and magical moments can get a little old.

Uber Eats’ new campaign subverts the British actor’s romantic comedy legacy. In the ad, Law is stuck in a romcom world where everyone, from the bookshop owner to people on the street, is ready to confess their devotion to him.

“I can’t do this. No more romances, no more happily ever afters,” Law says after one aborted meet-cute. “It’s exhausting.”

After all this swooning, what Law really needs is some downtime, which he finally finds after ordering chicken wings on Uber Eats.

This is the latest chapter in Uber Eats’ “When You’ve Done Enough” platform in the U.K. It will run across TV, out-of-home, digital, and social media.
