Jubilee Hills bypoll campaigners reach out to morning walkers at Krishna Kanth Park

Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills bypoll campaign reached the lawns of Krishna Kanth Park in Yousufguda on Sunday morning, as the BRS, BJP and Congress vied for the attention of hundreds of morning walkers and yoga enthusiasts. Former MP and senior BRS leader B Vinod Kumar, accompanied by supporters, arrived early and spent nearly an hour interacting with walkers and those practising yoga. He highlighted the achievements of the BRS government during its decade-long tenure and accused the Congress of misusing power by doing cheap and bulldozer politics by initiating HYDRAA. He also praised the efforts of BRS MLA, the late Maganti Gopinath, for the development of the Jubilee Hills constituency. His campaign drew a strong response from the crowd, with several walkers joining in. Outside the popular KBR Park as well, BRS supporters distributed handouts and appealed for votes for BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha. The BJP team, led by Union Minister for Mines G Kishan Reddy and party candidate Lankala Deepak, reached Krishna Kanth Park around 7.30 am. They met morning walkers, handed out party material, and urged people to back the BJP in the bypoll. Learning of the BRS and BJP presence, Transport Minister and Hyderabad district in-charge minister Ponnam Prabhakar arrived with TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud. The two appealed to the walkers to support Congress candidate Naveen Yadav. With Sunday being the final holiday before the campaign concludes, the park turned into a buzzing political stage. Activists from all three parties competed for attention, distributing pamphlets, engaging with residents, and seeking last-minute support ahead of polling on November 11.
