Jacobs has struggled to find running lanes through the first two games, yet he’s turned limited space into production. Pro Football Focus reports that 127 of his 150 rushing yards have come after contact, placing him third among all running backs.
Through the first two weeks, both the Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders loaded the box to contain Jacobs. Summer Sports notes he’s faced an average of 7.57 defenders in the box this season, up from 7.15 in 2024. That pressure has dropped his yards per carry by 0.8 compared to last year. Even so, Green Bay continues to score efficiently, with Jacobs playing a key role in that success.
