Jon Bon Jovi Announces Major Shakeup to 'Forever' Tour

Jon Bon Jovi has unveiled a major shake-up to his Forever Tour, just weeks after surprising fans with the announcement of new 2026 dates. According to Blabbermouth, Bon Jovi is taking a page from rock legends Metallica, drawing inspiration from their approach of delivering a fresh setlist each night, made possible by their vast catalog of hits. So instead of playing the same songs for the tour’s duration, and switching up a song or two, Bon Jovi is considering playing different sets for longer stretches of tour dates. “The one thing that I am in control of, the only thing I’m in control of [is the setlist], ’cause at this point, because I do [rehearsals of] two hours a day, four days a week of sets, of shows. I was looking at Metallica, and I talked to Lars [Ulrich],” he revealed. Bon Jovi is reportedly inspired by how Metallica continues to change up their setlist each night during multiple show runs. “I said, ‘So let me get this straight. If you’re only doing ‘Master Of Puppets‘ on one night and ‘One‘ on one night, is the audience mad that they’re not there [the next night]?’ And he goes, ‘Nope. We have enough songs that it works.'” Parade Daily🎬 SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬 The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer said he is perhaps looking to that concept for his Forever series of 2026 shows, which includes nine shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City, and stops in Edinburgh, UK, Dublin, Ireland, and a trio of shows in London. Of the revised setlist, the entertainer said it is something he will consider to shake up the experience for fans. However, this idea is not set in stone. “I have enough songs and enough hits, I could do two separate entire shows and have hits on both sides. So I’m having a lot of fun putting together shows that are multiple-night kind of shows,” he concluded. When was the last Bon Jovi tour? Bon Jovi concluded his final tour before an extended hiatus due to vocal challenges in 2022. His last tour stop was at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. During that evening, the band rocked through some of their greatest hits. According to Setlist FM, these were the songs played on the tour’s final night. The show began with “Livin’ on a Prayer,” followed by “You Give Love a Bad Name,” “The Radio Saved My Life Tonight,” “We Weren’t Born to Follow,” “It’s My Life,” “Beautiful Drug,” “Born to Be My Baby,” “This House Is Not for Sale,” ““Just Older,” and “Let It Rain.” The following songs wrapped up the set. They included “Keep the Faith,” “American Reckoning,” “Whole Lot of Leavin’,” “Do What You Can,” “I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead,” “Lost Highway,” ““Roller Coaster,” and “Who Says You Can’t Go Home.” Bon Jovi followed up with two sets of encores, performing the songs “Wanted Dead or Alive,” “Bad Medicine,” and “I’ll Be There for You.” Bon Jovi’s Forever Tour begins in July 2026.
