Jolly LLB 3 Advance Bookings: Akshay Kumar And Arshad Warsi’s Film Sells Over 1 Lakh Tickets

Jolly LLB 3, starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, has finally hit theatres. The courtroom comedy-drama, directed by Subhash Kapoor, has already performed well in advance bookings, with all eyes now on its weekend collections. The film reunites the two Jollys from the hit franchise and is expected to do well in the Hindi market, thanks to its legacy and star power.
According to a report by Sacnilk, the film has earned around Rs 3.23 crore from presales of 1,20,463 tickets. If the makers deliver high-quality content, box office collections are expected to rise. However, its release on a working Friday, rather than during a festival, may limit its initial advantage.
Jolly LLB 3 Faces Pre-Sales Setback
Pre-sales were slightly delayed due to technical issues at a national multiplex chain, according to Bollywood Hungama. The makers of Jolly LLB 3 had anticipated paying VPF (Virtual Print Fees) to the multiplexes, but insisted that the film be distributed without the VPF charge.
A source mentioned that every producer is required to pay a Virtual Print Fee (VPF) to each venue where their film is screened. However, Hollywood studios have been excluded from paying this tax. The source added, “Accordingly, the Indian verticals of these Hollywood giants, too, haven’t paid VPF. Jolly LLB 3 belongs to Star Studio18, which is a part of Disney and Viacom. As a result, it was expected that it would also get the VPF waiver. However, PVR Inox insisted that they should pay the VPF like the other production houses of the country.” The issues have now been solved, and the sales have resumed.
Jolly LLB 3: Plot and Cast
Jolly LLB 3 has a runtime of 2 hours, 37 minutes, and 16 seconds. The CBFC granted the film a U/A 16+ certificate after minor adjustments that did not affect the plot. Directed by Subhash Kapoor, who also helmed the first two installments, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla, Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao, Seema Biswas, and Gajraj Rao. The franchise’s popularity, combined with the highly anticipated courtroom showdown between Kumar and Warsi, has heightened box office expectations.
