Joe Jonas Is Single in A Very Jonas Christmas Movie Trailer

It looks like Joe Jonas may have been bitten by the love bug in the trailer for the Jonas Brothers’ upcoming holiday film, A Very Jonas Christmas Movie. The teaser, which was released on Monday, November 3, sees Joe, 36, telling brothers Nick and Kevin Jonas that he “bumped into” Lucy, a character played in the film by Chloe Bennet whom he seemingly had a romantic history with. (Joe, Kevin, 37, and Nick, 33, are playing heightened versions of themselves in the film.) “We had a connection,” Joe confesses to his brothers about Lucy, while Kevin asks, “How many connections have you had this month?” and Nick quips, “Joe can’t count that high.” While Joe is single in the film, Nick and Kevin are happily married to their wives, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Danielle Jonas, respectively. In fact, both Priyanka, 43, and Danielle, 39, make cameos in the trailer as they chat with their husbands via FaceTime and discuss their Christmas plans. Things get a little chaotic when the Jonas Brothers get stuck in London two days before Christmas and are determined to do whatever it takes to get home in time to celebrate with their loved ones. “I cannot miss Christmas,” Kevin declares after the plane they were supposed to get on gets struck by lightning and is demolished. “What an incredibly unique thing about you, Kevin,” Nick says sarcastically. “No one can miss Christmas. Have you ever seen a Christmas movie? It’s the entire plot of the film.” After rushing to make a train from London to Paris, Nick’s navigation steers the trio wrong and they end up in Amsterdam. Eventually, they try to take matters into their own hands and fly a plane themselves. “Guys, I got this, I know Glen Powell from Top Gun,” Joe says after climbing into the pilot’s seat and grabbing hold of the steering wheel. Despite his confidence, the plane makes a crash landing in the woods where the brothers are met by a pack of hungry wolves. “When a string of travel disasters strands the Jonas Brothers in London just days before December 25, the siblings launch a whirlwind dash across the Atlantic to reach their loved ones in New York,” the official synopsis says. “Each setback is met with signature sibling banter and show-stopping musical numbers, turning their quest into a feel-good spectacle packed with comedy, camaraderie, and holiday cheer.” In addition to the Jonas Brothers and Bennet, 33, the film also features Billie Lourd, Laverne Cox, KJ Apa, Andrew Barth Feldman, Andrea Martin, Kenny G, Justin Tranter, Randall Park and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. “The Jonas Brothers are making it a family affair, with a few special cameos from the Jonas family,” Disney teased in a press release. Fans enjoyed seeing the trio in action in the trailer, with one person commenting underneath the video on YouTube, “This looks like they had fun making this. Can’t wait to watch.” “The acting skills of the three of them have improved so much since Camp Rock and the Jonas series,” a second person wrote. “They are just on point. I hope this has its own soundtrack because the music sounds great.” A Very Jonas Christmas Movie premieres on Disney+ and Hulu, Friday, November 14.
