A Trust responsible for 24 schools across the region has said it is making a number of staff redundant after hitting financial difficulties. The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership (ATLP), which takes its name from a Sutton Coldfield comprehensive and is also responsible for schools in Sutton, Birmingham , Lichfield , Curdworth, Coleshill, Tamworth and Coventry, has written to parents at all schools about upcoming ’staffing changes’. ATLP has six secondary schools, 17 primary schools and one special school under its stewardship, but yesterday(October 9) it warned staff are set to go.
