Amazon prepares for major layoffs According to a Reuters report, Amazon has been gradually reducing its workforce across various departments over the past two years. This includes devices, communications, podcasting, and other units. These layoffs will affect several Amazon departments, including human resources (known as People Experience and Technology), devices and services, and the operations division. Employee reductions are planned in all of these areas.
