Joanna Brown, of Worcester, missing since Friday, police say

Police in Worcester, Massachusetts, are asking for the public's help in locating a well-known employee at a local restaurant who hasn't been seen since Friday morning. Worcester police said in a Facebook post Sunday that 30-year-old Joanna Brown was last seen leaving her place of work, the Bean Counter Bakery Cafe on Grove Street, around 9 a.m. on Friday. She is described as being 5'6" tall, with hazel eyes. Police said Brown might be in a 2025 gray Mitsubishi Outlander with Massachusetts registration 5GPN93 and could be in the Holyoke/Springfield area. She has not shown up for work or contacted friends or family, which is unlike her. The Bean Counter posted an update Monday on its Facebook page calling Brown a valuable member of their team. "She has been greeting our customers with her smile for 8 years!" the post said. "She has never just not show up for her shift until Saturday November 1st." "We miss her terribly and praying for her safe return," the business added. Anyone with information on Brown's whereabouts is being asked to call 911 or 508-799-8606.
