The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBoSE) has revised the class 10 annual examination schedule for winter-zone areas due to assembly bye-elections. Students appearing for the upcoming exams can download the updated schedule through the official website, jkbose.nic.in, which is available as a PDF. According to the revised JKBOSE 10th date sheet 2025, the Social Science paper has been shifted to November 26, while the Science paper has been rescheduled to November 11, 2025. The rescheduling is done because no exams will be conducted on November 7 and 14 since the by-elections are due on November 11 in Budgam and Nagrota. “It is hereby notified for information of all the stakeholders in general and the students of Class 10 in particular that the date sheet for Secondary School Examination (Class 10th) Annual/Regular, 2025 (Oct-Nov session), has been revised in view of Assembly bye-elections,” said JK Board in an official notification. Additionally, students must note that the exam timings as well as centres remain unchanged. The JKBOSE textbooks are available at the book stores of Srinagar and Jammu divisional offices of the organization apart from their availability at registered book shops in every district. "The J&K BOSE textbooks are simple, comprehensive and economical focusing on reducing academic stress. The books are covering the themes as envisaged under NEP- 2020 using NCERT content besides involving contextualization suitable for catering to the academic interests, age and grade appropriate understanding.
