Jey Uso is currently focused on capturing the vacant World Heavyweight Championship, but he also has aspirations for his twin brother, Jimmy Uso, in the singles division. As Jey prepares for his high-stakes match against CM Punk this Saturday at Saturday Night’s Main Event, he shared his thoughts on Jimmy potentially pursuing singles gold. The relationship between the Uso brothers has been strained recently. On the October 20th episode of WWE Raw, Jey won a Battle Royal to secure his spot in the World Heavyweight Championship match. During the final moments of that match, Jey eliminated Jimmy, despite Jimmy having saved Jey from elimination on two separate occasions earlier in the contest. The brothers addressed this tension and the outcome on the subsequent episode of Raw, seemingly clearing the air. While Jey is concentrating on his own championship opportunity, he believes Jimmy also has untapped potential as a singles competitor. Speaking on the WWE RAW Recap show, Jey voiced his desire to see Jimmy get a chance at a singles title, though he acknowledged that both brothers still have individual goals to achieve. “I’m never going to say no to Jimmy. Like, I’m never going to deny my brother of being one of the greatest tag teams of all time. I would love to run it back, being a super team, as you call it," Jey said, acknowledging their legendary tag team status. "But, man, I think we got unfinished business in this singles game right here.” He emphasized that both have more to accomplish individually before potentially reuniting. “I think we still got a lot to prove. I want to see Big Jim get his title shot. I know it’s lurking around there. Whether it be SmackDown or RAW, my brother’s going to get one. I’m happy for him to just be on that route too, man.” More news: WWE Superstar Announces Retirement Match Jey highlighted the benefits and unique feeling of singles success. “But I’m telling you, once he gets a taste of what it is, being like a singles star, and being a singles champion, man, it hit different. The money go up. The commercials go up. Uce? Everything goes up." He concluded by reiterating his current focus: "So just want to — I still feel like I got some things to prove in my own journey right now.” The complex dynamic between the brothers was further explored on the October 27 episode of WWE Raw. During an intense in-ring confrontation, CM Punk attempted to drive a wedge between them, telling Jey he was finally thinking for himself instead of listening to Jimmy or their cousin, Roman Reigns. Later that night, cameras caught Jimmy confronting Jey backstage, questioning his brother's focus just days before the championship match. Jey Uso will challenge CM Punk for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship this Saturday, November 1st, at Saturday Night's Main Event in Salt Lake City, Utah. Meanwhile, Jimmy Uso's path remains less defined. With Survivor Series: WarGames scheduled for November 29th, the outcome of Jey's title match and the ongoing tensions involving Roman Reigns and The Vision could place both Usos in pivotal roles, potentially even on opposing sides within the WarGames structure in San Diego.
