Jet2 is launching two new routes from Manchester Airport as part of its Summer 2027 programme including an island destination where Brits won’t need to navigate strict EU border rules. The airline and package holiday provider will offer services to Bergerac in France and Jersey in the channel islands. Bergerac will be an exclusive Jet2 destination from the northern travel hub. Located in southwest France, the town is known for its mediaeval old town with beautiful half-timbered buildings and historic castles which can be found in the surrounding countryside. It’s a popular destination for wine enthusiasts thanks to its location near the Dordogne Valley. Or if you fancy an island holiday without the hassle of navigating new EU entry rules, Jersey – the largest of the Channel Islands – offers beautiful beaches and gorgeous countryside. The island is known for being one of the sunniest places in the British Isles, with a warm climate during the summer months. It means that Jet2 will operate to 59 sun and leisure destinations across Europe including Canaries, Balearics, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Cyprus, Croatia, Montenegro, Malta, Bulgaria, France, Austria, Morocco, Jersey and Portugal. Tickets are already on sale for 2027, so passengers can start planning ahead now with just a £60 deposit per person.
