(Image: Pexels) Candidates interested in applying for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) can complete their registration through the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in once the link is activated. (Image: Pexels) According to the NTA schedule, JEE Main 2026 will be conducted in two sessions. Session 1 will be held from January 21-30, 2026, while Session 2 will take place from April 1-10, 2026. The two-session format allows students another opportunity to improve their scores and performance. (Image: Pexels) Male candidates belonging to the Unreserved, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), or Other Backward Classes (OBC) categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹1,000 if they are appearing for the exam at centres located within India. However, if they choose a centre outside India, the fee increases to ₹5,000. (Image: Pexels) Female candidates from the same Unreserved, EWS, or OBC categories have a slightly reduced fee structure. For exam centres within India, the fee is ₹800, while for centres outside India, it is ₹4,000. (Image: Pexels) Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), or Transgender categories benefit from a further concession. Their application fee is ₹500 for centres in India and ₹2,500 for centres located abroad.
