Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels dislocated his left elbow during Sunday's primetime matchup versus the Seattle Seahawks. The Commanders will be without their former first-round draft pick for the next few weeks. On Sunday morning, his mother, Regina Jackson, shared a photo from a game earlier this season. She can be seen looking towards the field during a pregame moment, watching her son. She added an inspirational message to the quarterback as he currently recovers from his elbow injury. The Washington Commanders haven't placed Daniels on the Injured Reserve despite his injury. The team remains hopeful that he could return after their bye in Week 12. It remains to be seen how Daniels continues to recover from the injury. Being NFLPA certified allows Jackson to be involved in Daniels' contract negotiations. She has stated this mission in the past throughout her son's journey through college football at LSU and then after he was drafted by the Commanders. In July, the certified NFLPA agent co-founded her own agency, called "Athletes in Control." The agency will advise athletes at the collegiate level when it comes to NIL (Name, Image and Likeness) deals as well as retired athletes as they continue their business endeavors after their playing careers.
