Janhvi Kapoor recently appeared on Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s show, Two Much. During her appearance, she revealed that on set, she pretends to be dumb in order to navigate male egos. She said that it’s not always easy for her to put her point across, especially if a scene is politically incorrect. In such instances, she pretends that she doesn’t understand too many things. Janhvi Kapoor said, “I understand that I am coming from a place of privilege in my work environment. But I feel for me it’s been (about) navigating egos, male egos. But I need to tell them 10 nice things and pretend I am not capable enough to perform this way, just because I think it’s too politically incorrect to perform the scene in this way. I will just say, ‘Mujhe samajh nahi aa raha (I am not getting it)’, instead of saying this is f***ed up!” Meanwhile, on the work front, Janhvi Kapoor was recently seen in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.
