Jadyn Virgil Joins ABIC Through DWD Programme The Association of Bermuda International Companies [ABIC] announced that Jadyn Virgil has joined the team through the Department of Workforce Development’s Bridge to Work Programme. A spokesperson said, “This programme provides young Bermudian professionals with valuable opportunities to transition into the workforce. Participants engage in a 10-week attachment designed to provide real-world experience, mentorship, and exposure to professional environments within Bermuda. Some of the fields these young adults are working in are Information Technology, Skills Trades, Finance, Business Development, Bermuda’s Blue & Green Economy and International Business Sector. “During his placement, Mr. Virgil is gaining hands-on experience in operations, administration, and stakeholder engagement at ABIC. The Bridge to Work [BTW] Programme is a structured, time-bound pathway for 18–26-year-olds that blends assessment-driven coaching, work-based learning, and wraparound supports to build employability, resilience, and career clarity. The aim of each placement is skill development, professional exposure, and progression toward the most suitable next step.” “I’m honoured to be selected by ABIC for this 10-week programme, which has given me invaluable hands-on experience to advance my career.
