Love don’t cost a thing — but this mansion certainly might.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are learning that luxury real estate doesn’t always come with a Hollywood ending.
Two years after snapping up a sprawling Beverly Hills estate for nearly $61 million, the now-split couple has relisted the property for $52 million, reports Mansion Global, putting them on track for a multimillion-dollar loss.
Perched on a 5.2-acre promontory in the Beverly Crest neighborhood, the roughly 38,000-square-foot mansion first hit the market in July 2024 for $68 million.
After two significant price cuts — one in May of this year and another upon its recent relisting — the property is now offered at a full $16 million below its original ask. It’s also nearly $9 million under what Lopez and Affleck paid.
The transaction was made through a trust connected to Affleck’s longtime business manager, public records show. The couple filed for divorce in late 2024 and had it finalized in early 2025.
The couple purchased the home about a year into their marriage, before going their separate ways last August — and their joint real estate play appears to be unraveling as well.
And it appears Lopez is still choosing to reside there until it finds a new buyer. Earlier this month, the star posted to her Instagram account several photos of her inside the home getting ready for the YES Scholars 25th Anniversary Gala honoring Nicole Avant and Ted Sarandos.
Despite the price cuts, the double-gated compound is nothing short of extravagant.
The main residence includes 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms and a host of high-end amenities, including a 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse, a separate caretaker house and a two-bedroom guard unit.
There’s a 12-car garage and parking for dozens more — as well as an indoor sports complex with basketball and pickleball courts, a gym, a boxing ring, a bar-equipped sports lounge, a home theater, plus a zero-edge pool with sun shelf and hot tub.
The mansion, originally built in 2000, underwent extensive renovations just months before the initial listing, according to marketing materials.
But even with the upgrades and celebrity pedigree, it has struggled to attract a buyer in a cooling ultra-luxury market.
Listing agent Santiago Arana of The Agency declined to comment. Representatives for Lopez and Affleck did not return requests for comment.
