'I’ve Won Everything' – Milwaukee Bucks Star Responds to Alperen Sengun’s Comments on His Passing

Winning a medal on the international stage is never easy. All the talent in the world is gathered together in one tournament, and everyone’s fixated on ending their run in the top three. That’s where the gold, silver and bronze medals are given.

For the Milwaukee Bucks star, the Greek men’s national basketball team was focused on winning the gold medal, just like all the other countries in the tournament. Unfortunately for Greece, they couldn’t finish at the top and had to settle for third place. Despite that, Antetokounmpo still had pure joy since they finished with a medal.

According to him, winning the bronze medal is “probably the greatest accomplishment” as an athlete. Although he clarified that it isn’t better than the 2021 NBA title he won with the Bucks.

“But when you are able to make 12 million Greeks happy, and you are able to inspire the next generation – like (the 2005 EuroBasket winners) inspired us from the previous generation in 1987 that inspired them. This is the biggest thing ever,” he said.
