One of the most stylish Irish presenters on our TV screens, Vogue Williams has once again wowed viewers in a vibrant top that’s perfect for the autumn season. The 39-year-old appeared on ITV’s Lorraine on Tuesday to share her top style picks, but it was her own outfit that left fans swooning. It’s no secret that Vogue is a fan of a high street find, and can regularly be found in pieces from Marks and Spencer and River Island. Her latest, though, is from New Look, and shoppers are already heaping praise on the ‘comfortable and flattering’ piece. Vogue opted for the Compact Knit V-Neck Cardigan from New Look , which comes in at £34.99. The fashion expert joked on air: “This top I love. It’s from New Look, £34.99, I borrowed it from the wardrobe – I don’t know if it’ll be going back. Little pop of colour which is great for a knit and the sleeves are really nice.” The cardigan is designed with a flattering V-neckline and finished with statement puff sleeves and a cut-out hem which creates an hourglass visual. It comes in a bold orange hue perfect for autumn outfits, but it’s selling out quickly. For those who love the cut, the knit also comes in black, purple, and grey, offering plenty of choice for every wardrobe. This style of cardigan is particularly elevated, with a slim fit and polished feel. For a similar aesthetic, Boden has this Joanna Fitted Knitted Jacket for £119 , and is made from a soft blend of cotton and wool, offering a tailored look with a relaxed feel. Some may love the vibrant shade of the cardigan but prefer an oversized look. To tick those boxes, we love the Cara & The Sky Brigit Pointelle Stitch Balloon Sleeve Cardigan, which is £85. With its bold orange hue, soft blue contrast tipping and statement balloon sleeves, this textured knit is great for making a statement. Vogue styled her knit with a pair of denim jeans, but it could easily be worn with tailored trousers or a satin skirt for a smart-casual look, or with a mini skirt and boots for a relaxed weekend look. The statement sleeves are stunning, and can be worn full length, or pushed up like the presenter did for a slightly different vibe. Online, the cardigan has been racking up praise from shoppers, with one commenting: “This is really comfortable and flattering. The style of the arms is nice change from the norm.” “Very nice cardigan. Smart casual look,” said another. “Fits quite big though so size down one or even two sizes if thinking of purchasing it. I’m a UK 16 and a size 12 fit me. Material is also quite heavy.” Another wrote: “Such a lovely, warm and comfortable cardigan and I love the sleeves. The overall colour with the buttons and style is chic and can be dressed up or down.” However, not everyone was sold, with one review reading: “I really wanted to like this but although the fabric was nice, the styling and cut were all wrong. The body fit very well, but the sleeves were far too bulky.” Someone else commented: “Amazing quality, I’ve seen the same quality from other retailers at a much higher price Point so this is amazing value. I love that I can wear it with a skirt or trousers. Such a great colour as well.” With autumn layering season officially here, it’s no wonder this New Look knit is selling fast. Vogue’s bright orange or one of the other shades is a high-street hero well worth snapping up before it sells out.
