Graduates of the Leadership Excellence in the Travel Industry programme were presented with their qualifications at a graduation ceremony in the Shelbourne Hotel. The programme was developed by Positive2Work Skillnet in association with the Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA) and travel experts, with the intention of building a course relevant to the travel industry. The Leadership Excellence in the Travel Industry programme focuses on the development of industry specific essential skills in leadership, finance, digitalisation, sustainability and the use of artificial intelligence as a business tool. Presenting the graduates with their certificates, ITAA President Tom Randles, said: “Feedback from participants and employers alike has been extremely positive regarding the Leadership Excellence in the Travel Industry programme. The ITAA is immensely proud of this group of graduates, the third cohort since the Programme commenced, and their hard work over the past two months. “Their accomplishments highlight the talent and potential of the next wave of travel industry leaders.
