IT Park Uzbekistan Showcases Uzbekistan’s Digital Potential in Beijing and Shanghai - UzDaily.uz

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Two Uzbekistan Outsourcing Conferences organized by IT Park Uzbekistan were held in China. The forums took place in Beijing and Shanghai, the country’s largest business centers, and were dedicated to developing international cooperation and promoting Uzbekistan’s investment and technological potential. The events brought together more than 70 representatives from 42 leading Chinese companies operating in artificial intelligence, business process outsourcing (BPO), GameDev, IT, and fintech sectors. Among the participants were major brands such as Xiaomi, Baidu, YONYOU, PayerMax, and other tech companies interested in expanding their activities in Central Asia. The conferences were led by Jahongir Rajabov, Director of Business Development at IT Park Uzbekistan, who presented the country’s IT ecosystem development strategy and emphasized the importance of cooperation with Chinese partners in digital technologies. One of the speakers, Gu Jing, Sales Director of Renrui Human Resources, shared his experience of successfully establishing a business in Uzbekistan. According to him, the process of registration and business launch took only one month, and the key factor in choosing the country was the availability of multilingual and highly qualified specialists, which is particularly important for the development of the BPO sector. Yuri Karp, Regional Director of BIPO, also delivered a presentation, highlighting Uzbekistan’s advantages — a favorable business environment, government support for IT companies, competitive conditions for investors, and a high level of human capital. He stressed that Uzbekistan is becoming a reliable platform for international companies seeking to expand their business in Central Asia. As a result of the conferences, an agreement was reached for a Chinese delegation to visit Uzbekistan. During the visit, representatives of the technology sector will familiarize themselves with IT Park’s infrastructure, the country’s ecosystem, and the potential of local specialists and startups. This visit will serve as the next step in strengthening bilateral partnerships and provide a foundation for new investment and educational projects. The conferences in Beijing and Shanghai became an important platform for strengthening cooperation between IT Park Uzbekistan and leading Chinese technology companies, as well as for exchanging experiences and discussing the prospects for developing the region’s digital economy.
