Gaza, November 01 (QNA) - The casualty toll of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has soared to 68,858 fatalities and 170,664 injuries.On Saturday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that over the past 48 hours, the Strip's hospitals have received the bodies of 22 martyrs: five killed recently and 17 bodies recovered from under the rubble, in addition to nine people injured. The Ministry pointed out that thousands of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable of reaching them due to massive destruction and dangerous conditions on the ground.Since the ceasefire agreement on October 11, the death toll has risen to 226, with 594 others wounded. Rescue teams have recovered theآ bodies of 499 Palestinians, while the occupation has handed over the remains of 30 people, bringing the total number of bodies received to 225. (QNA)
