Israeli Airstrike on Southern Lebanon Kills One, Injures Another

Beirut, October 07 (QNA) – One person was killed and another injured in an Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon.

Citing the Ministry of Health, Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) said that an Israeli drone targeted a car between the towns of Deir Amas and Siddiqin in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon, killing one person and wounding another.

A ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon went into effect in November 2024, stipulating the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from the border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within 60 days.

The Lebanese government subsequently agreed to extend the deadline until last February. However, the occupation army remained in five locations and continues its violations, exceeding 4,500, according to a statement by the Lebanese army several days ago. (QNA)
