On November 7, Sussanne Khan and Zayed Khan’s mother, Zarine Khan, passed away at the age of 81. According to reports, she had been battling age-related health issues for a long time, which led to her demise. Celebrities such as Hema Malini, Priyanka Chopra and Saira Banu remembered Khan on their social media pages. Now, actress Isha Koppikar pens down a long and heartwarming Instagram post mourning the loss of Zarine Khan. Koppikar expresses her grief and calls Zarine Khan the heartbeat of every gathering. Isha Koppikar Remembers Zarine Khan Koppikar shared a throwback picture of her with late Zarine Khan and Farah Khan Ali. She recalled how full of life Zarine Khan was and remembered her warmth. “Aunty Zarine. You were the heartbeat of every gathering full of laughter, warmth, and that unmistakable joie de vivre that made everyone around you feel alive”, Koppikar wrote in the caption. Koppikar further mentioned that Zarine was always there for family and friends and had touched many lives through her kindness. “You touched so many lives with your kindness, your energy, and your unstoppable positivity. You lifted people without even trying, simply by being yourself. Family, friends, and even those who met you once will always remember the light you carried and how generously you shared it.” Koppikar added. She was the wife of actor and director Sanjay Khan. She has appeared in Hindi films like Tere Ghar Ke Samne, opposite Dev Anand. Zarine’s last rites were performed the same day at the Juhu Crematorium. The funeral was attended by her several Bollywood personalities, including Bobby Deol, Hrithik Roshan, Saba Azad, Jackie Shroff and Jaya Bachchan. She is survived by her children Zayed Khan, Sussanne Khan, Farah Ali Khan and Simone Arora and her husband.
