FanDuel, a popular fantasy sports and betting app, faced major technical problems on Sunday as NFL games were underway, leaving thousands of users unable to view or track their bets. According to Downdetector, over 6,000 users reported issues with the app. Many complained on social media that they couldn’t access their wagers or cash out during live games. Social Media Reactions Frustrated users flooded X with messages such as, “FanDuel is down. Can’t track anything,” and “Why is the app down? I’m losing money.” Some even claimed that FanDuel’s support page was not responding properly. In response, FanDuel acknowledged the outage on its official support account, saying, “We’re aware users are experiencing issues viewing some markets. Our teams are fully engaged and working to resolve this as soon as possible.” Later, the company said NFL markets were back online and advised users to restart the app if problems persisted. However, several users continued to report difficulties, especially in viewing their bets and cashing out. One user wrote, “NFL markets in the Midwest region are still down, preventing cash outs.” Another added, “Got over 300 on bets and can’t even follow. Come on, FanDuel!” What FanDuel Said In its latest update, FanDuel said it was aware of issues with the “My Bets” section and assured users that “all wagers will settle as normal and be visible once the issue is resolved.” Some players also reported seeing “Page not found” messages when trying to open specific game pages. FanDuel has not yet disclosed the exact cause of the outage but confirmed that its technical team is working to restore full functionality as quickly as possible.
