The Dallas Mavericks are in a slump. Despite landing this year’s No. 1 and Duke standout Cooper Flagg on top of their already star-studded roster, the Mavericks are 0-2 at the start of the season. Well, part of it has been because the 18-year-old has had to go out of his way to play at the point guard position. However, he has been forced to do so because of the sheer number of injuries on the Mavericks’ roster, and things do not look any good so far. Dallas is already without their star point guard, Kyrie Irving, but now there are also question marks surrounding their veteran forward, Anthony Davis. So, will the Brow play tonight? Well, the answer is yes, given he is not on the team’s injury list. That’s a massive relief for the fans and also for head coach Jason Kidd, who is already dealing with a lot on his plate right now. More so, because AD has been among the better players amid their abysmal start to the campaign. Over the two games so far, the 32-year-old has been averaging a staggering 24.5 points along with 13 rebounds and 2.5 assists. Now, that’s some insane production, to say the least. Nonetheless, while Anthony Davis seems to be doing his best individually, he will still need to step it up further to ensure his team’s win against the Raptors tonight. Meanwhile, even though Davis has been cleared to play, the same cannot be said for a lot of Dallas superstars. Dallas Mavericks injury report before they host the Toronto Raptors The Dallas Mavericks are still seeking their first win, and injuries aren’t making things easy for Anthony Davis and Co. Of course, the most notable absence for the franchise will be that of their superstar point guard, Kyrie Irving. The veteran is out for the majority of the season due to an ACL injury. However, there are several other players on their injury report as well. Forward Daniel Gafford is out with an ankle injury. Last season, Gafford was a massive part of the Mavs’ roster as he averaged around 12.3 points along with 6.8 rebounds while shooting 70.2 percent from the field. So, it goes without saying that the team is missing his production this time around. At the same time, both Brandon Williams and Dante Exum are out for this clash with injuries.
