Most companies are still in the AI pilot phaseNearly two-thirds of organizations have not yet begun scaling AI enterprise-wide. While AI tools are being adopted in at least one business function, only about a third of respondents say their companies are actively scaling AI programs, as per McKinsey report.2. AI Agents Gain Traction in IT, Knowledge Management, and HealthcareAI agents, systems that can act in the real world, plan, and execute multiple steps, are gaining attention. Sixty-two percent of respondents report experimenting with agents, though scaling is limited, with no more than 10 percent using agents in a single function. These high performers, about 6 percent of respondents, also redesign workflows, scale AI faster, and implement best practices for transformation. More Companies Implement Risk Management for AI Errors and ComplianceOver the past few years, organizations have increased efforts to mitigate AI risks, such as inaccuracies, privacy concerns, and regulatory compliance. Fifty-one percent of respondents report experiencing at least one negative consequence from AI, with inaccuracy being the most common.
