Intersport Racing has announced its driver line-up for the upcoming 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, featuring several experienced prototype drivers, including owner/driver Jon Field and accomplished international racing veteran Oliver Jarvis. Field and Jarvis will drive the black, silver, and orange No. 37 ORECA 07-Gibson LMP2 for the full seven-race LMP2 season, in partnership with American single-seater racing powerhouse HMD Motorsports. This marks Field and Intersport Racing's return to full-time IMSA competition after Field made a one-off return to IMSA at last year's Rolex 24 At Daytona (pictured above), his first start in major North American sports car racing since 2011. Jarvis won the 2022 IMSA premier class title and took overall honours at the Daytona 24 Hours; he is also a two-time LMP2 class winner of the Le Mans 24 Hours. Like Field, Jarvis will also be returning to full-time IMSA competition for the first time since his 2024 campaign with Pfaff Motorsports. “It’s thrilling to return with this level of talent and support,” said Field. “The blend of experience and youth in our lineup gives us every tool to fight for wins from Daytona onwards.” “I’m really excited to be joining Intersport for the full IMSA season in LMP2,” added Jarvis. “It’s great to be back competing in this championship- I’ve had some amazing moments here, including wins at Daytona and Sebring, and of course the 2022 DPi title. Intersport is an ambitious and passionate team, and Jon has built a great program that I’m proud to be a part of. I’m looking forward to getting started and fighting for wins together this year.” For the five-race Michelin Endurance Cup campaign, Seth Lucas will join Field and Jarvis for Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen, Road America, and Petit Le Mans (Road Atlanta). Lucas drove in LMP2 full-time for High Class Racing in 2024 before moving on to Korthoff Motorsports in 2025 – but his campaign with Korthoff ended abruptly before last year's race at Watkins Glen. Nonetheless, the 19-year-old is looking forward to his newest opportunity. “I am super excited to announce that I will be competing in the LMP2 category with Intersport Racing for the 2026 season, driving alongside Jon Field. I would like to thank everyone at Intersport as well as Jon for making this upcoming season possible,” he said. Completing the team's four-driver line-up for the Rolex 24 At Daytona is Dutchman Job van Uitert, the 2018 European Le Mans Series LMP3 Champion, and a multi-time LMP2 race winner in ELMS, WEC, and IMSA competition. “I'm extremely excited to go racing at Daytona again,” said van Uitert. “It’s very exciting and motivating to be a part of a new project full of energy and ambition. Jon has put a great driver lineup and crew together, and I’m confident that we will fight for the win.”
