A FERRY firm set up to provide inter-island links between Jersey and Guernsey has had more than 25,000 passengers since June, according to its chief executive.
Unveiling the company’s 2026 schedule, Islands Unlimited said the strong passenger figures showed how high demand is for routes between the two islands.
The first crossing only took place in June on the San Pawl – a 316-seat catamaran brought over from Malta.
Islands Unlimited chief executive, Captain Chad Murray said: “We’re proud and excited to share our 2026 schedule, giving travellers the chance to plan ahead with confidence. Reaching over 25,000 passengers this season shows how valued this service has become. As we explore opportunities to offer new routes, our focus remains firmly on delivering reliability and quality on our core Guernsey–Jersey route.”
“As well as serving our regular travellers, Islands Unlimited is playing a growing role in supporting the wider Channel Islands economy. Reliable ferry links are vital for tourism, business, and community connections, and we’re proud to be part of that story. Looking ahead to 2026, we’ll continue to strengthen our core route while exploring opportunities that enhance choice and connectivity for islanders and visitors alike.”
Following a short winter pause in operations, the 2026 schedule will start in March and run through to the end of October 2026, with regular daily sailings between Guernsey and Jersey.
