Selective Insurance Group has recently secured a 122,525-square-foot headquarters lease at 103 John F. Kennedy Parkway in Short Hills. The group plans to occupy the space in 2026. Cushman & Wakefield negotiated the long-term lease for the insurance group, according to an Oct. 17 statement. Columbia Pacific Advisors plans a comprehensive modernization of the building, including installation of larger windows, new HVAC systems, and upgraded electrical switchgear. Selective Insurance is partnering with Mancini Duffy to design the workplace environment. The real estate services firm’s David DeMatteis, Robert Rudin, Jan Randall and Christina Magill represented Selective Insurance in the transaction. The landlord, Columbia Pacific Advisors, was represented by Timothy Greiner and Mike Pietrowicz of JLL.
