Disney Cruise Line shared a new look inside The Sanctum, a Doctor Strange-inspired lounge on the Disney Destiny. The Sanctum The Sanctum is a centrally located parlor “brimming with magic and mystery.” It features rich red and gold accents, and velvet furnishings. The space is partially inspired by Doctor Strange’s Cloak of Levitation, which is on display alongside other familiar props. The carpet pattern is inspired by Doctor Strange’s medallion. The circular window behind the bar is based on the New York Sanctum’s window. It’s equipped with color-changing backlighting. The lounge offers an array of mocktails, cocktails, spirits, and coffees, including tableside beverage experiences. Offerings include the Mirror Dimension, served in an interactive glass and garnished with a dust. The Circle of Cosmos is presented in an upside-down glass with a lemon peel spiral. Food includes the signature stuffed waffle with custard cream or mixed berry compote filling. The Sanctum will offer crafts, trivia, and musical performances.
