Injured Shedeur Sanders Announces ‘Treatment’ Update as Browns Legend Calls for Dillon Gabriel Benching

Shedeur Sanders was about to make his NFL debut during the Cleveland Browns’ Week 8 clash against the New England Patriots. However, a back injury ruined his chances of finally starting under center for the Browns. Now, two days later, while the Browns are preparing to face the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium, QB Sanders has shared a major update on his health. On October 29, Sanders sat down for a livestream where a fan asked about his back injury. Shedeur confirmed that he is getting the treatment every day and is on the right course of recovery. “Straight bro, treatment every day. We getting back, we getting back, going again, back on top, bro,” he replied to the curious fan. It is a huge update for the Browns, who are currently among the bottom teams in the AFC with a 2-6 record. They are almost on the verge of playoff elimination with the season only halfway through. And considering how poor Dillon Gabriel has been for the Browns ever since taking the starting job, former Pro Bowl cornerback Joe Haden wants Sanders to take the QB1 job. “Dillon Gabriel…I don’t think he’s the answer. I honestly, my particular opinion…I don’t want it to seem like I’m forcing Dillon out of there, like I wanna give him a valid shot. I think Shedeur Sander is going to be a very good quarterback, and I would like to give him a chance,” Haden said on the October 29 episode of the Honor the Land show. “If we throw (Sanders) in there, hopefully he’s gonna throw some more of these deep passes… just the speed outs, he’s not gonna throw errant passes all the time, like what Dillon is doing,” Haden angrily complained. If Shedeur Sanders recovers in time for the Week 9 game against the New York Jets, he might start. If he does and plays well, he might get a long run. That also might be the start of a ‘legendary’ run. Stay tuned! There’s more to this story!
