Infamous Ex-Dodgers Star Slams YouTube Over Unexplained Drastic Move: “This Should Not Happen”

“I’m probably one of the top 10 pitchers in the world right now.” That neither came from Tarik Skubal nor Paul Skenes. A few months ago, it was claimed by a former, controversial MLB player who is now active in Japan’s NPB. It’s true that former Dodgers player Trevor Bauer was once one of the most talented pitchers in the league. However, it was significantly overshadowed by the infamous s——l a——-t allegations against him. But as he sees it, “it was all a lie.” Now, as he pitches for the Yokohama DeNA BayStars while focusing on his YouTube channel, he publicly voiced his frustration at the platform over a recent development.
On Thursday, YouTube posted a notice on X. They pointed out that some previously terminated creators are attempting to start new channels. They clarified that their pilot program on terminations is not yet open. As before, the YouTube community guidelines are still the same for previously terminated users. The users can neither possess nor create other channels. Or else? YouTube’s note read, “We’ll terminate new channels from previously terminated users in accordance with these guidelines. We’ll have more to share on the limited pilot program soon.” Trevor Bauer quote-tweeted this post and slammed YouTube for terminating his channels multiple times.
“You’ve terminated 3 of my channels in the last 3 months for posting highlights from my own vlog content and training tips for youth baseball pitchers. As one of the largest sports creators on your platform, this should not be happening. Especially with ZERO explanation or warning.” He stated. Notably, Trevor Bauer creates content that’s focused on sharing baseball tips, critical in-game moments, and everything related to baseball.

Former Dodgers star ignites controversy in NPB
Two months after claiming to be one of the best pitchers in the world, Trevor Bauer’s comeback in NPB was not about fastballs or strikeouts. During August, in a NOB game, the former Dodgers pitcher ignited a massive outrage with a gesture that may appear small but carries significant weight in Japanese culture.

Trevor had gotten Kaito Kozono to ground out. And then when he was making his way to the dugout, he casually kicked the batter’s discarded bat. After two innings, Kozono came up to bat again. He ripped a triple off Bauer, and as the former Dodgers pitcher walked back to the mound, Kozono shouted at him. This was documented by @GaijinBaseball and is widely circulated to date.

It gained more than 200,000 views, and all the Bauers’ past controversies were highlighted again in the backlash. The same journalist who shared the video (@GaijinBaseball) is based in Tokyo, and he also revealed another concerning thing about Bauer.
