LinkedIn, the professional networking platform, has released a list of annual data-backed ranking of Top MBA programmes across the globe. As per the list, the Indian School of Business (ISB) (based in Hyderabad and Mohali) has topped the India region, with a global rank of 5th. ISB topped the list in India, and LinkedIn revealed that the most common job titles bagged by graduates include Product Manager, Program Manager, Management Consultant mainly in Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai. Most notable skills are growth strategies, product vision, user research. The second ranking Indian institute is IIM Calcutta, followed by IIM Ahmedabad at third spot. These two IIMs have ranked at 16th and 17th spot globally. Following them is the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) at the fourth rank in India and 20th globally. IIM Calcutta and IIM Bangalore ranked 16 and 20 respectively, are new entrants. IIM Lucknow is the fifth best ranked MBA institute in India, with a global rank of 26, followed by IIM Indore at 26th rank globally and sixth spot in India. The only other Indian institute in this list is the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) which ranked at the seventh spot in India and 50th overall. Globally, Stanford University retained its top spot on the global list for another year, followed by Harvard University at rank 2, INSEAD at rank 3, and the University of Pennsylvania at rank 4.
