The much-awaited new season of India’s Got Talent has finally begun, and the stage is set to provide viewers with an incredible blend of entertainment, glitz, and talent. Navjot Singh Sidhu, Malaika Arora, and Shaan will serve as the show’s judging trio when it returns on October 4, 2025.
The trio ensures that viewers are treated to a breathtaking voyage of “Ajab” artists generating “Gajab” moments by bringing a special blend of fun, refinement, and encouragement to the show. One of the season’s standout features is Navjot Singh Sidhu’s impromptu shayaris, or poetry couplets, which particularly caught the eye of fellow judge Malaika Arora.
Navjot Singh Sidhu’s Take
Known for his humour and eloquence, Sidhu’s impromptu shayaris add a fresh perspective to the panel of judges. The performance becomes more remarkable when he responds with a beautiful “shayari” after each act.
While Sidhu’s powerful words inspire viewers to rise beyond social criticism and follow their aspirations, his shayaris have brought a unique touch, motivated contenders and won over Malaika.
Malaika’s reaction to Sidhu’s creativity has been anything but reserved. After hearing a particularly moving remark in one promotional video, she joked, “Saare jo aap bol rahe ho na, mujhe likhna hai” (Everything you say — I want to write it down).
That exchange suggested that she would eventually gather Sidhu’s poetic treasures into a book, which was more than just light-hearted banter, according to the Times of India.
“Duniya mein sabse bada rog, mere baare mein kya kahenge log” (which translates to “The largest ailment in the world is ‘what will people say about me’) is one of Sidhu’s comments from the promotional video that has already gained a lot of traction.
The Impact of The Lyric
In a show where participants often reveal their dreams to the public, the lyric is particularly powerful since it emphasises a major aspect of many aspirants’ journeys: overcoming self-doubt and society’s judgment.
Producers and audiences appear to enjoy the combination of poetry and performance. Sidhu’s poetic interventions support the show’s tagline, “Jo Ajab Hai, Woh Gajab Hai” (“What is unusual is marvellous”), which underlines the season’s commitment to honour acts that surpass convention, as per India Forums.
