Team India shone brightly on the first day of the Pickleball World Cup, as they displayed some unmatched skills to win medals in multiple categories. Currently being held at The Fort in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the tournament has over 68 delegations battling it out to win the title. However, the Indian squad showed that they were prepared to take on any challenge as they clinched some of the top awards on Day 1 of the event itself. India's day ended with four gold medals and two silver medals, with one of the notable performances delivered by Vijay Chabbria of the 35+ Men's Singles category. Let us take a look at all the winners of the day: India at the World Cup- Day 1 Vijay Chabbria - Gold in 35+ Men's Singles 3.5 Nitten Kirrtane - Gold in 50+ Men's Singles Open category Rakshikha Ravi and Sindoor Mittal - Silver in Women's Open Doubles 5.0 Dhiren Patel - Silver in Men's 35+ Singles 5.0 Nilesh Desai - Gold in Men's 50+ Singles 4.5 Dev Shah - Gold in Men's Singles Under 34 5.0 The Indian squad also has many other talented individuals taking part in the tournament and are will be seen from Day 2 onwards.
