I’m getting more comfortable at Barcelona – Rashford

Marcus Rashford was the hero as Barcelona beat Newcastle 2-1 at St. James’ Park on Thursday night.

The 27-year-old forward scored a stunning header and a rocket for a man-of-the-match performance that got England manager, Thomas Tuchel nodding in approval.

Speaking after the game, the Manchester United loanee expressed delight for being able to grab his first official goals for the Blaugrana after a slow start at the Nou Camp.

Rashford said, “I only saw the second goal, but it was certainly a great game in a difficult stadium. We played very well.”

The Englishman explained that a change of city and culture made settling in a little difficult but added he is quickly adapting under manager, Hansi Flick.

“We have a team with top players. It’s difficult to arrive in a new city, a new culture, but I’m enjoying it and I’m getting more and more comfortable. As time goes by, I’ll improve my football,” Rashford said.
