ICSI Teachers Conference Organised by Western India Regional Council of ICSI

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India engaged with the educators across Mumbai, Maharashtra through the august Platform of ICSI Teachers Conference organised to celebrate ICSI Teachers’ Week and empowered the torch bearers of knowledge through thread bare sessions on the recent topics related to ESG, Conflict Management, Career Opportunities in CS, etc.

ICSI Teachers’ Conference on the Theme “Empowering Educators” was organised by –Western India Regional Council of ICSI at ICFAI Business School, Powai, Mumbai in physical mode on 11th September, 2025.

60 academicians participated in the event. The Teachers’ Conference witnessed a large scale participation from Commerce/Management and Law Faculty members from premier institutions, Colleges and Higher Secondary Schools like Shriniwas Bagarka College, DES’s Navinchandra Mehta Institute of Technologoy and Development, Thakur College of Science & Commerce, Maharashtra National Law University, Jitendra Chauhan College of Law, IBS, SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) Deemed-to-be University, Garware Institute of Career Education & Devevlopment, P. N. Doshi Women’s College, Ghanshyamdas Saraf College of Arts and Commerce, etc. from Mumbai, Maharasthra.

The Teacher’s Conference was inaugurated in the august presence of CS B. Narasimhan, Immediate Former President, the ICSI. Dr. Preeti Saxena, Campus Head, ICFAI Business School, Powai delivered the welcome address. CS Chetan Gandhi, Practicing Company Secretary, Leadership & Life Transformation Expert, Mumbai shared his knowledge on Conflict Management and about the CS profession. CS (Ms.) Meghal Shah, Company Secretary and Head – ESG, IIFL Capital Services Limited (formerly IIFL Securities) shared her knowledge on ESG subject expertise with an aim to bring scholars, educators, and professionals to share developments in their respective fields and open the knowledge frontiers.

The Western India Regional Council of ICSI by conducting the Teachers Conference provided an opportunity for academicians and professionals to share their knowledge, research findings and educational practices at a common platform.
