Iconic star has been cast in the latest ‘Yellowstone’ spinoff

If you’re a die-hard fan of “Yellowstone,” then consider yourself locked in for its latest spinoff, “The Madison.”
The next installment of the hit series has a stellar lineup of characters that’s already turning heads, thanks to Michelle Pfeiffer, who was placed in the lead role.
But alongside the “Dangerous Minds” star, another Hollywood heavyweight is on board: Kurt Russell.
The “Sugarfoot” star, whose no stranger to the big screen, is setting up to take on Montana and it has fans talking.
So, if the good news is news to you, here’s what to know about “The Madison.”
The new series tells the story of the McIntosh family, who leave New York City after a great loss, per Deadline.
The big move then leads the family to Montana’s Madison River Valley, where the rugged environment becomes as much a part of the story as the residents themselves, The Pioneer Woman Magazine.
So far, Paramount has coined the spin-off series as a “heartfelt study of grief and human connection.” This gives the notion that the new series could be an emotional watch.
Not only is Pfeiffer starring in the show, but she’s also serving as the executive producer. Also casted is Patrick J. Adams from “Suits,” Matthew Fox from “Lost,” Elle Chapman, Beau Garrett, and Amiah Miller.
Though Russell’s addition has fueled excitement considering his long history with Westerns and action dramas, his role has yet to be revealed.
Nonetheless, this is something “Yellowstone” fans are over the moon for.
With “The Madison” added into the “Yellowstone” Universe, the new series joins creator Taylor Sheridan’s “Y: Marshals” with Luke Grimes, a spinoff starring Kelly Reiley and Cole Hauser, and the much-anticipated (though not yet confirmed) prequel “1944.”
As for a premiere, Paramount has set 2026 as the target premiere year for “The Madison” and will stream exclusively on Paramount+.
