Hyundai Motors unveils 2026 Palisade to boost local automotive industry

Hyundai Motors & Investments Ghana Limited has officially launched its all new 2026 Hyundai Palisade, marking a major step in the brand’s commitment to delivering world-class vehicles and supporting the Ghanaian economy.

Speaking to GhanaWeb Business on the sidelines of the launch in Accra, the Country Manager, Ganesh Y. Phadale, said the new addition reinforces Hyundai’s strategy of providing advanced mobility solutions, while creating opportunities for the local automotive industry.

“The launch of the 2026 Palisade is not only about introducing a new model to the market, but also about supporting Ghana’s economy through job creation, after-sales services, and increased investment in the automotive value chain,” he said.

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade is the latest version of the company’s flagship SUV, arriving with a bold new design, improved comfort, and cutting-edge technology.

The automobile comes with both a 3.5 litre V6 engine and, for the first time, a hybrid option that combines a turbocharged 2.5 litre engine with electric power for greater fuel efficiency.

Hyundai has equipped the Palisade with the latest driver-assistance systems such as Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Blind-Spot Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance.

The SUV also supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, comes with a built-in dashcam, and offers over-the-air software updates.
